Packages of BibleTime 2.8.0 for Ubuntu Lucid, Maverick and Natty are now
available for download in the "Stable Packages" PPA.

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pkgcrosswire/ppa
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get install bibletime

Equivalent packages for Debian are likely to follow once we have the
latest SWORD libraries in Debian experimental.
