I'll comment on some of these. At the end of the post there's a copy of
our irc discussion about Mag. Please comment on it and other proposals,
too. I'll post this to bt-devel because I want comments from all
developers, not only from translation specialists.

We have a Bookshelf Manager, I don't think it needs to be changed.

Might be a good idea. It's a common problem to select between these. And
we should be consistent. I don't know if BibleTime is now consistent in
its use of Delete and Remove.

Scopes and ranges are a bit confusing and they should be used
consistently. Needs attention.

These are difficult. How to describe the reference ("Matt 1:1")
and the text it references to?

Original text by Jaak:
********************************************************************
Structure of this file:

Context
     Suggestion
         Comment

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BibleTime
     Mag -> Info
         "mag" mostly means "magazine". I'd strongly consider to change
this into some "info" panel. Since "mag" is a made-up word, it can't be
properly translated.

     Bookshelf &Manager... -> &Manage Bookshelf...

BtAboutDialog
     Many strings should be concatenated, e.g "Please see" and "for an
overview..."
         content += tr("Please see ");
         content +=
make_link("http://qtsoftware.com/company/model/","qtsoftware.com/company/model");
         content += tr(" for an overview of Qt licensing.")

     domain sponsor -> webdomain sponsor
         To be more specific (and help translators)

BtInstallPathDialog
     The string "BibleTime and the Sword library find the modules..."
has a double space
     Use directory? -> Warning

BtModuleManagerDialog
     Bookshelf Manager -> Manage Bookshelf

BtSourceArea
     Delete... -> Remove...
     Delete this source -> Remove this source
         Since we don't actually delete the source, just remove it from
BibleTime

BtSourceWidget
     Delete Source? -> Remove Source?
     Do you really want to delete this source? -> Do you really want to
remove this source from BibleTime?
         We don't actually delete the source, just remove it from
BibleTime. Mentioning "BibleTime" explicitly in this message might be a
good thing.

"Setup Search Scopes" dialog:
     Setup Search Scopes -> Setup Search Ranges
     S&earch range: -> Predefined &search ranges:
     Edi&t current range: -> &Edit selected range:
     &Add new scope -> &Add new range
     Delete current &scope -> &Delete selected range

CBibleReadWindow
     Text of reference -> Referenced text
         Is the referenced text meant here???
     Copy chapter to clipboard ... -> Copying chapter to clipboard...
         Also notice the excess space before ...
     Saving chapter ... -> Saving chapter...
         Excess space before ...

CBookReadWindow
     Toggle tree view -> Show contents tree
                      -> Show contents
                      -> Show table of contents
         Tree view isn't descriptive enough.
     "Copy entry with text" and "Print entry with text" need clarification
         What is meant by these? - They need to be commented.

CBookshelfIndex
     Unlock work -> Unlock protected work

CDisplaySettingsButton
     Confusion with "Display options" and "Display settings"
         Need comments at minimum.

CDisplaySettingsPage
     //: Empty string, don't translate
         Then why use tr() instead of QString() ???

CHTMLWriteDisplay
     Center -> Align center
         There's "Left", "Right", "Center", "Align left", "Align right",
but no "Align center".

CHTMLWriteWindow
     Delete current entry -> Delete this entry
     Delete current entry (no undo) -> Delete this entry (no undo)
         "current" may seem ambigious to users

CLanguageSettingsPage
     //: Empty string, don't translate
         Then why use tr() instead of QString() ???

CLexiconReadWindow
     "Entry with text" needs clarification
         What is meant by this? - It needs to be commented.

CModuleIndexDialog
     Creating indeces -> Indexing
     Creating index for work: %1 -> Indexing work: %1
         These are just alternatives.

CPlainWriteWindow
     Delete current entry -> Delete this entry
     Delete current entry (no undo) -> Delete this entry (no undo)
         "current" may seem ambigious to users

CSwordModuleInfo
     Take care, this work contains cult / questionable material! ->
Warning! This work contains cult / questionable material!

CSwordSettingsPage
     //: Empty string, don't translate
         Then why use tr() instead of QString() ???

CSwordSetupInstallSourcesDialog
     Ok -> Add
     Discard -> Cancel

Our irc discussion about Mag:
*********************************************************************

<eelik> What do people think about the name "Mag", is it good?
[20:52:57] <eelik> What would be better alternative?
[20:54:11] <superfly> eelik: I think "mag" means "magnifier" but I think
there could be a better term
[20:54:13] <GHellings> "Little extra info data window of user-friendliness?"
[20:54:15] -*- superfly thinks thinks thinks
[20:54:31] <superfly> Info View is OK, but not brilliant
[20:54:41] <eelik> "Details"?
[20:54:43] <superfly> it's not a hint view either
[20:56:03] <jotik> Hmm... actually "Details" sounds quite ok too.
[20:56:19] <eelik> is it easy to translate?
[20:56:26] <GHellings> Details doesn't stand out to me as a "This is
what it does" type of name
[20:56:45] <jotik> eelik: into estonian - yes.
[20:57:33] <eelik> Mag is translated as "Suurennuslasi" in Finnish
[20:57:51] <eelik> literally "Magnifying glass"
[20:58:01] <jotik> "Suurendusklaas" in estonian.
[20:58:03] <superfly> Annotations?
[20:58:56] -*- superfly installs the latest BibleTime
[20:59:09] <eelik> Annotation is a bit hard to translate
[20:59:17] <jotik> "Notes"?
[20:59:48] <eelik> Notes sound like something you write yourself
[21:00:04] <GHellings> "Supplemental Information"
[21:01:11] <eelik> jotik is right in that Mag means actually Magazine,
but is it bad for native English people?
[21:01:30] <eelik> Do they understand it as Magnifier
[21:02:14] <eelik> At least we could add an icon to the tab
[21:02:17] <superfly> eelik: that's what I thought it was
[21:02:24] <jotik> It shall be called "Bob" :D
[21:02:57] <eelik> Bob? like in Bobcat?
[21:03:29] <GHellings> I understood it as Magnifier until you just said
that.
[21:04:51] <eelik> Personally I like Mag because it gives to the whole
app a hint of, well, personality
[21:05:57] <jotik> What kind of information does it show besides footnotes?
[21:06:06] <eelik> bookmarks
[21:06:17] <superfly> eelik: I don't see how that little windows is a
"magazine"
[21:06:22] <eelik> create some bookmarks and hover over them
[21:06:32] -*- superfly thinks of a glossy periodical when he hears
"magazine"
[21:08:53] <eelik> It could actually show also module details, when you
hover over a module name in Bookshelf
[21:09:10] <eelik> Not it's in a tooltip but they are a bit clumsy
[21:09:29] <GHellings> I think that "Details" is the best suggestion
that's come up so far.
[21:10:38] <jotik> when thinking of Mag as a magnifier, I think about
zooming
[21:11:11] <eelik> ...which reveals more details :)
[21:12:05] <eelik> In any case, we won't have a perfect word
[21:12:12] <jotik> ...which draws big rectangular pixels :D
