Might I also suggest a blog? Yes, Thomas, that means changing the site to a
CMS instead of the current Write XML -> Commit -> Bug Joachim until he
pushes it live. A blog with a couple of postings a month helps to generate
a community, and also helps to reassure people that the project is still
alive.
