Sorry for any misunderstanding.  We are talking about different things.
 What I meant was, in beta1, libboost-dev is needed at build time but
libboost itself is not linked to and so is not needed at run time.
Therefore, the patch to remove it does not really "buy" the average
BibleTime end user much -- specifically, it does not reduce the amount
of libraries they have to download and install, which I thought (and
said, in an earlier message!) that it would.  The (correction) in the
subject of my email was supposed to indicate that it was a correction to
my earlier message -- not that a correction to BibleTime is needed!

I have not worked with the BibleTime SVN code (other than the r1201 that
handled the SWORD RC2 removal of setUserDisclaimerConfirmed() ), I
prefer as far as possible to work from released source tarballs since
that is what I will package.
