Both Martin and I have now new 64bit machines so we have to look at  
this sooner or later :) But you probably guessed right that this is a  
Sword problem rather than BibleTime. It's also possible that it's been  
fixed in sword because 1.5.9 is quite old.

We made many bugfixes for 1.6.5 which you can find packaged for  
Kubuntu. Just follow the instructions in a news item in  
bibletime.info. I don't remember if this bug was fixed then but it was  
a known bug.
