Summary: bibletime for dreamlinux

Initial Comment:
iwanted to install bible time through the synaptic package manager but it's not listed. can you help out? i'm running dreamlinux os on a NF-M2S motherboard with a amd dual core 2GH processor. i have a seagate 160 GB HDD. i might have to install it manually but i don't know how. i'm novice but can follow proper instructions. i'm currently running gnomesword for now. i keep reading all the good reviews on bibletime so would like to install it. if there's a repository i can add to the synaptic package manager i'll do it. thanks for any help you can give

Hi k_chupe. I don't know dreamlinux, if it is based on debian, you can
install the debian packages (debian repo, package is outdated and a buggy,
but should be updated shortly), if it is based on ubuntu, you can use those
instead (current packages for the latter are at
https://launchpad.net/~txwikinger/+archive). Otherwise you need to compile
yourself. BibleTime 1.7 should appear soon with new binary packages for
various distributions.
