I commited debugging in csearchdialogareas.cpp where the
CSearchOptionsArea::eventFilter seems to be the problem. This event
handling was added to enable starting the search by pressing enter key
in the search terms line edit. Possibly I have not understood the event
handling correctly.

BTW, I used valgrind/callgrind to find this problem.
