Summary: Click to change current verse

Initial Comment:
Provide an additional [ browse ] type button on the verse address bar which will show a clickable list of books, then chapters, then verses to allow for clicking to a different section of the bible (that is, from Mathew 12 to Daniel 12). This is most useful for non desktop environments where the keyboard is inconveniently placed or not present.

projector PCs - while the keyboard is present, its typically hunt and peck typing which turns into slower discovery of the verse than the speaker.

living room PC's - many are run primarily by a glorified remote... point and click is the preferred entry method.

Touch screens,

Laptops in meetings where lots of typing is a distraction (touch pad clicking is silent where keyboards make a lot of noise.)

A typical example (and probably code that's not too hard to modify) of clickable verse choosers can be seen in the crosswire handhelds section.

Martin said that the old style navigator will not come back but I think
this is really important and we should enable the easy mouse-only
navigation (in the current one it's possible but not easy). We have already
had a couple of these request and it is very well reasoned.

I have a lengthy analysis on this subject in
http://devel.bibletime.info/wiki/Talk:BibleTime2FrontendNavigator.
