Summary: provide image auto-resizing

Initial Comment:
Many images in graphic modules have huge images which do not fit even on the user's screen, much less within a subwindow of a UI which is doing several things at once. It would be wise to add an ability to resize images to fit the containing subwindow proportionally. As well, having resized, it would be good to provide for the user to be able to click an image in order to get an external single-image viewer at full resolution. In GnomeSword, we use ImageMagick's "display" as the external viewer, which provides a smaller panner window to move around excessively large images, and the overall ability to auto-resize is controlled by a Preferences flag.
