Thanks for the reply, following is the terminal stuff, KCrash backtrace 
and my set up from dmesg

When I open Bibletime from the terminal I get:

but it opens fine, except on the first time when it tries to go to setup.

All runs fine until I click on Settings --> Configure BibleTime

*** BibleTime got signal 11 (Crashing) ... KCrash:  Application 
'bibletime' crashing.
