I tried what you asked, but before I sent my original message, I
deleted, among a few other things, "configure" and "Makefile.cvs" before
I re-ran "make -f Makefile.cvs" But, as my most recent e-mail confirms,
I still got the same error message that prompted this suject to begin
with. You ask, "So, what is the output of "make cvs-clean?" Of course,
because I have no "configure" file in That copy of the CVS (I have three
right now :)), and "make -f Makefile.cvs" still won't run on that copy,
the output is this:

[steve@localhost bibletime]$ make cvs-clean
make: *** No rule to make target `cvs-clean'. Stop.

Unless you say different, I will keep the "offending" copy of the CVS
around, if you have any ideas about what went wrong.... If I don't hear
any different after a few days, I will remove it from my system.
In closing, both of the Fresh copies of Bibletime that I got from the
CVS this morning, work perfectly, and my "older" copy, after running
"make distclean" and updating it again, still produces the same error.

Have a Great Day :)
