I will look into submitting them, if the existing ones are not any 
better/worse.  As for the install path, if you recall, they stopped putting 
KDE Apps into /usr/kde/3/bin.  Now they go into /usr/bin like everything 
else.  If you want to "check on me", try "which kdevelop" or "which quanta" 
to see what I mean. :)
