[bt-devel] more compile-time errors on 'make'

Hi everybody:

Great news! I finally got my issues with gcc worked out and compiled a simple
hello.cpp file! For the record, I'm sorry to report I couldn't figure out
what the problem was, but rather, after confirming all the possible packages
were installed I just uninstalled and reinstalled them. That's all. Kinda
disappointing to fix something on Linux the way I would have on a Micros~1
product, but it seems to have worked.

Anyway, I'm now on to much more exciting errors compiling "sword.1.5.3". =)

I've posted the appropriate report to sword-devel, but I was also wondering:
Is there anyone here compiling with Mandrake 8.2? And if so, is there any
known issues they might pass along?

I'm asking here because I wasn't able to find an archive for the mailing list
to which I could search.

BTW, I posed the question to sword-devel as to whether this might be something
desireable for the lists. Anyone here have any comments? If so, I would be
willing to look into it.

Oh well, it's late and I should be in bed.

Goodnight all. May you have an unually blessed day tomorrow.

Steven
