The "co" option is to get a completely new copy of BibleTime. The parameters 
were for the update command, which syncs your copy with the online copy of 
BibleTime.

Using checkout you could use:

cvs -z5  -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.bibletime.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/bibletime 
co bibletime

Be sure to check out the "bibletime" module, not "bibletime-common", this was 
a test module which is not yet useful (was meant for translation packages).
