Ah yes it's a problem with the nvidia drivers on my system.  I used the 
ones from nvidia but it seems they caused more problems than I realised 
at first. Tomarrow I'm back to my 3dfx card. I'll do a fresh install of 
8.0 and recompile bibletime, that should solve the problem.
