As of the new version (0.3, in CVS),
the backend uses pure SWORD and Qt2.
But in the frontend there is a lot of KDE code. Nearly all widgets, dialogs
etc. use KDE derived classes.

I have heard though one the KDE mailing list that porting KDE to
windows would not be that hard (can't comment on this).

But I guess a port to windows is not just recompiling, sorry.

BTW, are there any swiss bible societies who own copyrights for bible texts
you would like to contact and ask if they are willing to sell them in SWORD
format?
