I recently upgraded my Mac OS from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I was a casual user of Accordance, another Bible software program out there. It required Rosetta to run on my MacBook. When I upgraded to OS 10.6 the recommended install was to omit Rosetta. I wondered how many programs I used that used it. Turns out, not many. I figured the computer would run better without Rosetta messing around in the background, so came looking for another Bible program. I found MacSword, and like what I see so far. Hello. If Accordance supports some kind of export so that your text can be exported in some format you would be able to create a SWORD module from it and use it in MacSword. Accordance from version 8 however is universal binary so it runs natively without Rosetta. Regards, Manfred |

I just read this at the crosswire site: "How do I convert modules from other Bible software (e.g. e-Sword, BibleWorks, or OLB) into Sword modules? The SWORD Project does not support the conversion of texts from other Bible software vendors. By that, we mean that we neither encourage you or others to convert material from other software because it may violate licensing or copyright restrictions. Nor can we provide any assistance to those who choose to convert such material." I guess my question here in the forum was inappropriate.
