Is there a way to limit the list of available books in the bible to those that are in the loaded text? In the Hebrew Old Testaments there are not, of course, any of the New Testament books. It would be great if these didn't appear in the scrollwheel when not applicable. I have no idea how this works, nor even whether it's possible. Is the list of books written into the program or is it a part of the configuration of the bible being used? |

At the present, this is not possible. We display all the books of the Bible that are available in that "versification" of the Bible that the Bible contains. Right now, almost all of our Bibles (all of those downloadable from "CrossWire 1" and "CrossWire 2") are using the KJV versification, which is what is found in most modern protestant Bibles. PocketSword has support for Bibles using the "Leningrad" and "Masoretic Text" versifications, but we have yet to convert such Bibles to be using those versifications. ---------------------------------------- PocketSword Developer http://twitter.com/PocketSword |
