Nic, thank you for trying to help. How do you think, will we have the possibility to use Strong's searching in MacSword or PocketSword in RST (I'm using both)? And searching in String's already work in PocketSword? Excuse me - what does "clucene" mean? |

"clucene" is the actual library/framework that does the indexing/searching. Nothing you need to worry about. There might be another workaround until we figured what is wrong with the module. Unfortunately this doesn't work with MacSword. In BibleDesktop however if you search the index for a certain Strong's number it puts all found verses into the reference search field. You could then copy that result from there. This of course has to be done for KJV and then used for RST. Manfred |

Sorry, it appears that searching for Strong's Numbers in the RST is broken. It's a module issue, so you would need to create a bug report at: http://www.crosswire.org/bugs/browse/MOD Hopefully someone can look into it soon for you. Searching works in PocketSword, make sure you have v1.1 or later (I just released v1.2 last weekend). If you are using iTunes to regularly check for updates of all your iPhone apps, you should have got this update. :) And, "clucene" is the method that PocketSword uses to implement search. You don't really need to know anything about it besides that without it, there'd be no search in PocketSword, so we like clucene. :) Thanks, ybic nic... :) ---------------------------------------- PocketSword Developer http://twitter.com/PocketSword |

It's not direct search, but helpful. I hope they will fix RST+Strong's searching in near future. |
