I think the question you are asking is more about how to create a Bible module, rather than how to install the Bible module you have already created into PocketSword? Creating a new module for use with PocketSword (or any of the other pieces of software connected with CrossWire) is something that I have never done before, but there is a wiki that can hopefully help you? Take a look at: http://www.crosswire.org/wiki/DevTools:Modules Once you have the module created, installing it into PocketSword is a breeze -- take a look at the forum post that explains how to do that. There's also a post on the PocketSword blog about how to do that. if you need more help, let us know. :) ---------------------------------------- PocketSword Developer http://twitter.com/PocketSword |

I don't believe this is something that can be presented on a video. There are too many aspects involved. But generally the process is like this: 1. you need a module source text. See: http://www.crosswire.org/wiki/File_Formats 2. from that source you create a module using appropriate command line tools. (explanation also in the above link. 3. you install the module in the application Manfred |

Yes, I guess my question was two folds, I have the Bible in a database with book name/chap no./verse no./verse txt. I may have to write some utility program to convert this to OSIS xml format (what a pain). Then import it into PocketSword would be another matter. Thanks for the clues, I need to spend sometime looking at the manual. |
