Hello everyone, Can anyone help me out with this. I need to put the Holy Bible on my website. However, I do not want to add apps from any other site. I want to host the content and make it searchable without going to any external site. I have the text and want it to be searchable by verse. Anyone has an idea how this can be done easily? Currently what you have is seen at nash.co.in/kjv For example John 3:16 or Jn 3:16 takes me to the verse and jn 3 takes me to the chapter. Is there an easy way to do it. If you could direct me on the right path, I could find my way out. Thanks for all the help. Regards, Nash |

An easy way... There are more ways if they are easy I don't know. Depends on your knowledge. You can use CGI and have diatheke get you your bible text. You can use the CORBA bindings of the SWORD library which AFAIK are also used in our own Web frontend "SwordWeb". You can also use a Java EE based solution with JSword. Manfred |
