I just installed MacSword on my MacBook Pro with MacOSX Tiger. The only problem is that when I run any modules (Bible, Commentary, Dictionary, etc) nothing is displayed in the window....even when I switch chapters and books in the drop down menus. This is really weird. PLEASE help! |

I have a Mac too, but use BibleDesktop. I also have a similar setup to you but I don't have a problem with MacSword. Let me ask a few questions: When you start MacSword, does it give a list of modules? If so then the problem is not finding modules. Under Preferences -> Appearance you can set the font. Does changing the font help? Assuming that you installed the KJV, can you locate KJV.swd in the Finder and double click on it? That should open the module to display it. Finally, on sourceforge there is a beta you can try: http://sourceforge.net/projects/macsword There are a lot of fixes and improvements in it. It may help. |
