I'm new to Macsword, Mac and the sword project. I'm most familiar with e-sword (which I realize isn't compatible), but also am running "Bible Desktop". What I'm trying to figure out in macsword, is why when I click on the strongs number, i don't also get the definition - just the greek/hebrew doesn't help much. I want it to also pull up the definitions. In Bible Desktop (also for the mac osX) it does this - supposedly with the same modules.... Not quite the same... Any ideas? rog |

No ideas, but just to say MacSword doesn't seem to have that function at present. I have been struggling to do Strong Number searches in the LXX but can't get it to work. Perhaps this is for a future time although it does seem a pretty basic ingredient of a Bible programme. |

I would guess that it is simply that your preferences are not directing the Strong's codes to the right lexicon. If you point it to the Strongs dictionary you won't have any problems clicking on the code or even using the pop up window. David |
