Encoding (code page) for devotional modules

Here I am with another question.

I am doing the same thing that Ingo did, namely making a devotional module in Polish. Your answer about markup will be helpful to me, too.

But I have a question about encoding. I converted the txt file to UTF-8 but the text (in the devodional displayed on the dictionary tab) is displayed as raw UTF-8.

I also tried the Central European Windows code page (cp-1250), also with incorrectly displayed characters as a result.

This happens on the Sword Project for Windows, ver 1.5.6

Will appreciate your help.
