Mac web serving

I'm interested in getting this working on my OS X.3 intranet, and I couldnt find some of the needed things for the server. (I forget which). Has anyone got it running on OS X?

OK, maybe some more info might get some responses. I haven't found
ORBit (ORBit2-2.7.1) or ORBit C++ (orbitcpp-1.3.5) for the Mac OS X, and kind of need it to run this. Has anyone gotten this running on a mac server?

What would be really nice is a .dmg file, but since I see none, if someone is willing to help I could create one.

Maybe it is time to learn the nitty gritty of unix.

Grace and Peace-

I'm afraid I cannot offer much assistance, but I can point you to a very nice Unix distribution for OS X: Fink. It does include GNOME, including ORBit, though I don't know how intuitive it will be to set the whole system up.
