How can i install bibletime with SuSe 9.2? Have somebody an idea to install BibleTime on my SuSe 9.2? Wath i've done? Second step: rpm-installation ************************************************************************ host:/usr/local/src # rpm -i bibletime-1.4.1-1.suse9.0kde3.2.i586.rpm error: Failed dependencies: libsword.so.3 is needed by bibletime-1.4.1-1.suse9.0kde3.2 host:/usr/local/src # I've installed sword 1.5.7 manualy (with configure). Hope, it does work - I've no idea to test it. I get no warnings and no errors. But: I found only libsword.so.4. SuSe-Install-packages over 9.0 does not exist for kde. First Step: source-installation ************************************************************************ BibleTime with bibletime-i18n-1.4.1.tar.bz2 does not work on my SuSe. ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 does work fine (no X-problems ).With "make" i've problems, perhaps. This post is fairly old. Do you still have this problem? OpenSuse packages are available (http://packman.links2linux.org/package/bibletime). |
