Greetings, I'm trying to install from source and get the following: cswordbackend.cpp: In method `CSwordBackend::CSwordBackend(const QString &)': cswordbackend.cpp:69: ambiguous overload for `bool ? QCString : int' cswordbackend.cpp:69: candidates are: operator ?:(bool, QCString, QCString) <bui ltin> cswordbackend.cpp:69: operator ?:(bool, const char *, const char *) <builtin> make[3]: *** [cswordbackend.o] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1/bibletime/backend' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1/bibletime' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1' make: *** [all] Error 2 I think I've installed all the dependencies properly. I can send more detailed logs to anyone willing to assist. Thanks & Best Regards, Steve |

Please read http://www.crosswire.org/pipermail/bt-devel/2004-March/005229.html for a solution. Joachim ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by jansorg at Jun 18, 2004 7:13:57 AM] |

Thanks Joachim. The original problem seems to have been resolved, which now leaves: /usr/include/g++/stl_pair.h:44: incompatible types in assignment of `const char[10]' to `char[10]' make[4]: *** [btinstallmgr.o] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1/bibletime/frontend' make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1/bibletime/frontend' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1/bibletime' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/bibletime-1.4.1' make: *** [all] Error 2 ...as the latest difficulty. I also read the follow-on to the thread you suggested at http://www.crosswire.org/pipermail/bt-devel/2004-March/005230.html. This looks very similar to the error I have above, but I found no response to the query posed in the link. Might you have a solution for this also? Thanks Again & Best Regards, Steve |
