When creating a new module from OSIS source that has some extra verses(because the versification is based on the NIV) with Osis2mod there are msgs generated that follow. Per the msgs I expected the extra verses to be appended to the end of the chapter but instead the extra verse gets written over the top of the last v11n verse. INFO(V11N): Revelation of John 12:18 is not in the KJV versification. INFO(V11N): Rev.12.18 is not in the KJV versification. Appending content to Rev.12.17 The same issue happens with 3 John 1:15 INFO(V11N): III John 1:15 is not in the KJV versification. INFO(V11N): 3John.1.15 is not in the KJV versification. Appending content to 3John.1.14 Appending the extra verse content is supposed to force the text into the KJV versification. instead verses are being lost. |

We have an open bug report for this: http://www.crosswire.org/bugs/browse/API-121. I've looked for a solution, but was unsuccessful. It seems to be partly dependent on your environment. In any case, there is a workaround, in that you can build a non-compressed module with osis2mod, then compress in a second step with mod2zmod. |
