osis2mod crashes with "Segmentation fault" on Hos.14.10. Can't find any errors in xml as well as no suggestions how to solve this problem. Whether that is a bug? My system is Ubuntu 10.04 32b I'm compiling russian judaic translation that differs from KJV versification this is xml source file |

If I remember this correctly, it is a bug, but a very low priority for us to ever fix. It is caused by using an incorrect versification system. So pick a better versification system, and you should be fine. |

nope, it's all the same with KJ versification: ***@dimanche:~$ osis2mod ~ ~/tanakh.xml -z You are running osis2mod: $Rev: 2478 $ Segmentation fault |

The problem is precisely that you are using the KJV versification with osis2mod, but your document does not use the KJV versification. You need to select a different versification for osis2mod, one closer to the versification used in your document. |

You should probably use this one : "Synodal" Located here: http://www.crosswire.org/wiki/Alternate_Versification It should look like this: ~/osis2mod . emtv.xml -z -v Synodal ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by troypulk at Dec 8, 2010 6:24:58 PM] |
