First The Sword project is great I've used it many times. I found it almost 8 years ago. 5 years ago I had an idea of how I could create a resource built on the Sword Project. I'm a microsoft developer using Visual Studio. The Source of course wouldn't compile various dependencies were missing and the source wasn't really intended to work with Visual Studio and Visual Studio ...

Is there a way to change which pane a book is displayed in? The SME file (Spurgeon's Morning & Evening Readings) displays in the dictionary pane, and I would like to have it in the Other Books pane. Is there an easy way to change this?

Thank you.

Just in case anyone else would find such a thing useful...

I have begun writing "swordd" (Sword Daemon), which is a server process similar in design to, say, an SMTP or FTP server.

The idea is that instead of linking in the sword API, or mucking around with SWIG bindings, or shelling out to run external programs, etc. a sword client could merely connect to a sword server and ...

Help with Parallel Bible Module View

I am using v 1.5.11 on Win XP. I have downloaded the zip install modules for the KJV, the TR, and the Vulgate.
I have the Parallel View set up to show KJV and TR but I can't find out how to also add the Vulgate to the Parallel View.
I've looked through Help, and the Forums with no luck.
Feelin pretty dumb since I just got KJV and TR to display but forgot how to add the Vulgate.

diatheke: can't find Tobit, Judith?

Hi! First off, thanks for this splendid software.

I'm trying to use diatheke to look up Tobit and Judith, but it doesn't seem to find them. Tob, Tobit, Jud, Judith -- nothing works. I'm searching the DRC, so I know the books are in there.

I also tried searching in Bibletime, but had the same problem.

Is there a setting I need to change, something like that?

Thanks very ...
