Colors for highlighting

Thanks for the great work on PocketSword. I have a small request regarding highlighting colors: I would appreciate a choice of lighter colours that keep the text more readable. E.g. the current blue offered is probably an RGB(0,0,255) - basicaly the primary colour. If it would be a pastel blue, the text below would be much more readable.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a libre office extention with hooks into the crosswire modules?

A way to insert a verse into a document by referencing the book short name, chapter and verse would be fantastic. Then to add to it, it formats per grammar rules for quotes and if you want it would create a note in the reference page

Thank You

Hi, would it be possible to have a Slovenian translation available?
There are several translations online at http://www.biblija.net/biblija.cgi?Bible=Bible&m=Jn+1%2C1-18&id0=1&pos=0&set=1&l=en&idp0=33&idp1=1 I'm not sure about the copyright though.
Best regards, James

Bookmarks & Side Scroll

I use the bookmark feature a great deal and would like it if when I added a bookmark it would automatically place it in order within the folder I place it. As it is now, I have to go into the bookmark folder and rearrange the verses in order after adding them. Also the ability to scroll sideways with just a tap would be great! Thanks!

Scrollbar issue

Is it possible (even as an option) that if you turn to the next chapter of the book that you are currently reading, the scroll bar will return to the top?

I think it is counter intuitive that the scrollbar will still be at the same relative position when you turn to the next chapter..

Thanks.

Hello All,

I want to say first of all that this program rocks. Thanks to everyone involved for the hard work! So my question (which may not be a features question if it already exists) is how do you look at or compare multiple translations and not have it be parallel. I know that you can look at parallel passages, which is helpful in many cases, but there are many times when I would like to ...

Hello,

Just downloaded the program and am excited to be able to get these resources for free and in a easy to use interface. The only thing I would like are resources like englishman's concordances and lexicons. I was wondering if there would be any englishman's concordance modules added.

I know there are issues with copyright and stuff, but I found "The Englishman's ...

[*]Web Enabled online version (PHP),[/*]
[*]Topical Chain reference.[/*]

Hello,

Is someone interested to add the traditional Serbian Bible (the Serbian analogue to the KJV). There is an online version of the Bible in the Latin alphabet:

I am quite sure that it has no copyright restrictions.

Kind regards,

Hi,
Thanks God & thanks the Sword Project team members providing such wonderful Bible software.
Here I want to report a typo mistake in the ChiUns version (Chinese Union Version Simplified): the word “有” (pronounce as “Yǒu”, means “Have”.) has become “冇” (pronounce as “mǎo”, means “Have Not”.) in the whole Chinese text of ChiUns and its Latin transliteration.
This error has overturned the ...

Support more alternative verse syntaxes, e.g. "Luke 13,12"

I would like to see SWORD supporting different verse syntaxes. It's all cool that I'm able to enter Luke 13:12 or Luke 13.12, but Luke 13,12 is not supported for some reason. However, this is the common German verse format.

The full syntax for extended citations would look like this: Luke 13,12.15.18; 15,2 (unlike the common English format: Luke 13:12,15, ... etc.). It ...

cross-comparing parallel Bible tool idea

Whenever I do an in-depth study of any portion of the Bible, I like to compare multiple different versions. The best way to do this is through a parallel bible tool. The problem is, none of them that I've found seem to do it very well.

Xiphos comes pretty close, in that it has the verses stacked right on top of each other, so you can pretty much look between the verses and see the ...
