Unable to see accents in Ancient Greek texts?

Hi,

I've been using Eloquent for English bible usage and it is fantastic. I have also started learning Koine Greek, but I'm having trouble seeing accents on any of the Greek texts I have downloaded through the module installer.

I have installed two unicode fonts that work with ProVoc (language learning aid), and have set those in preferences. Is it just that there are no texts with ...

Hi I am having trouble opening a note in the same window as a bible text. Last version it worked OK for me.
Whenever I open a note it opens it in a separate window. Also when I first opened 2.4.6 I thought I saw tabs, but now I can't find them.
I AM able to open 2 bible translations in parallel columns and a commentary underneath.
I'm running Mountain Lion 10.8.3, retina MBP.
Thanks,...

I am new to MAC and installed Eloquence on an iMac 6.1-Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
I then installed modules but when I access the program I get a popup that tells me I have installed 31 modules but have no access to Bibles or the program. Eloquence is in the Applications folder and on the Dock bar. Help would be appreciated. Thanks, KH

Does anyone know how to get Hebrew vowels working? I've downloaded most all Hebrew modules and none of them seems to include vowels.. I'm using Eloquent 2.3.5 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 and I have the Hebrew language pack installed.

I am a new Eloquent user. Working with MACBOOK Pro running OS 10.6.8. Just installed Eloquent 2.3.5/2046. Seems to be working OK except

(1) I installed and unlocked NET text and notes (Full text and full notes), but neither displays. I typed in the unlock code from Bible.org and the lock icon in the Eloquent module list is open. ESV and LXX display okay. Also, I should add that the free ...

I'm new here and don't know if this has been reported before.

The window title correctly updates when switching Lookup/Search type, either when changed with command-R or with the Toolbar icons. It updates to:

Workspace - the Bible name - whatever is in the search box.

However, the Tab Label does not update. It stays stuck on one or the other. This is easiest to see when the ...

Left-Align for Bible Text?

Hi,

I am trying to use the KhmerNT module with Eloquent, and got everything to work fine, but it seems like Eloquent tries to justify the Bible text, which for the Khmer language does not work. Is there a way to force the text to be left-align so the text will display correctly? If not, is there some way this feature could be added?

Thank you,
Nathan

Three Suggestions

1. Would it be possible to add a default module setting for "Commentary" between Bible and Dictionary in the General tab of the Preferences? That would be used by File -> New Single -> Commentary host.

2. There are nine possible module options. I typically use two to four of them, and have to make that many trips to the Mod Options menu every time a new Bible tab opens.

Synchronise Bibles and Commentaries?

Hi,

I would like to ask how do I synchronize the Bibles and commentaries in Eloquent? I'm using Lion, if that information is necessary.

Please pardon me if this question has been asked and answered before. I really tried searching the history regarding this, but couldn't find any, except for one using Windows (but apparently, that solution didn't work for me).

Thanks and ...

Hebrew in Raanana

First, thanks to the developers and whoever works on Eloquent. It's been a fantastic tool for me.

I use the OSHMB module very often, and I'm also a font geek. I really like how the font Raanana looks for Hebrew text. The problem is that when I set the font to Raanana, some of the letters (looks like letters with a vertical line under them, whatever that is, not a vowel point that I ...

Having a problem getting Eloquent to work on my Mac

I have a Mac OP System 10.6.8. I downloaded the program and installed it. However when I go through the steps in the video I saw posted to activate the modules I have a problem. I think I have followed all the steps but when I am finished I do not see the KJV under the left hand tab so nothing works.

Thanks
