Gospel Harmonies as a commentary module
Hi, I am proposing a gospel harmonies module as a commentary module.

It doesn't have to support screen splits just works like TSK be fine. (showing harmonized verses on bible view by clicking/tapping the verses on commentary view for)

It probably be ideal for a single screen sword project applications like PocketSword.

it looks like working from The Composite Gospel Index (http://www.semanticbible.com/cgi/cgi-overview.html) be straight forward.

I checked here and sword-devel archive to see if anyone talked about or already made a such commentary module but it seems not .

Will this be accepted into the sword project repositary if it's made?

Thank you in advances.
Blessings

Kunio

Hi Kunio,

Perhaps your best place to ask would be the sword-devel mailing list? more people are monitoring that than are monitoring this Module Requests forum?

Hope that helps? ybic

Hi Kunio,

I'm not quite sure how you picture a commentary version of a Gospel Harmony working. Certainly the Composite Gospel is based on a list of headings in a particular order, which I can't see how that fits into a commentary. Could you please elaborate?

BPBible has harmony support, showing both Robertson's Harmony of the Gospels and the Composite Gospel Index. Unfortunately, it can't be used by any of the other SWORD applications. You might want to have a look at it, though.
